Moses reiterates his committment to Super Eagles

– Moses says he is very much committed to Nigeria

– Vows to fight for ‘shirt’ in the Super Eagles

– Could be invited for the Egypt double-header

Following the outburst that Super Eagles forward Victor Moses is more committed to his club West Ham United, the Nigerian forward has refuted the claims, saying he is always proud to don the green and white jersey.
Moses last featured for Nigeria in their 2 – 0 loss to France at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil under former coach Stephen Keshi.

However, injury has
plagued the chances of the forward to return to the national team, and since then the 25-year-old is yet to earn a national team call-up under coach Sunday Oliseh.
However, the former Wigan Athletic star has insisted that he is 100% committed to the country and will do everything to return to the Super Eagles and retain his shirt.
“I’m proud of being a Nigerian international and am always committed to playing for my country,” Moses told BBC Sport.

“It’s the best feeling representing your country and I always want to perform and give 100% for the team. Unfortunately, I have not been able to play due to injuries but I have an unwavering commitment to Nigeria.

“There is a new manager and the team has been doing well but without me. I’m prepared to give it my all and fight for a place on a regular basis, that’s my aim. This is football, a competitive stage and I have to fight hard to get in but I don’t mind doing that.”

Moses may be invited for Nigeria’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Egypt in March.
Meanwhile, Moses who helped Nigeria to AFCON 2013 glory has acquired an exotic six-bedroom apartment in Lekki, Lagos at about N250million.
