“I don’t give out financial support to audio recordings, video shoots… Mediaworks is not a record label” – Mr. Isaac Utere

Mr. Isaac Utere (CEO/MD Mediaworks group) took to his social media space to clear the air as to whether or not Mediaworks is a record label.

He said thus;

“Mediaworks is not a Record Label. I don’t sign on artistes, I don’t give out financial support for audio recordings, video shoots and i don’t have power to force any record label to sign on an artiste.
I get involved in peoples projects when I’m invited or allowed to contribute ideas.
I am basically a creative artist with severe passion for sports, arts and entertainment.
I design and build unique stage and backdrops.
I produce signs boards and all printed matters.
I produce hand crafted tops for creative people.
I make special wooden structures for clients.
I have deep knowledge to set up events on the streets and indoors.
I organize free seminars and workshops to advance creativity.
Please don’t allow yourself to be deceived or tricked.
I am looking forward for serious minded Entertainment establishments, Record Labels and artistes to sign me as their consultant to contribute my ideas to their business and careers.
People come to my house to hangout, practice, network, receive free training and mentorship.
Please don’t come with the idea that I can make you “blow”. I DONT HAVE SUCH POWERS. I HAVE NEVER PRESENTED MYSELF AS CAPABLE OF THAT IN ANY WAY.
I am like any other father who wants the best for his children, so I do all in my power to support their ideas and creative careers.
My children have learnt to multi task, so they do a lot for themselves not waiting for me or anyone before they put promotional materials out on the social media, which has helped them extensively.
Their growth and development is still work in progress, which we are sure, will soon reap the rewards of their deep commitment and creativity.
My children’s creative careers are not funded and are not reliant to that of any young person who comes to Mediaworks, out of their own volition.
PLEASE DON’T COME TO MEDIAWORKS IF YOU ARE NOT COMFORTABLE WITH HOW I RUN MY HOME AND MY BUSINESS.
I’m still growing and working towards success like you, your parents, your friends, your labels, whatever you depend on, whatever you are connected to…I STILL DEY HUSTLE LIKE YOU!
I AM COMMITTED TO CONTRIBUTING MY IDEAS TO IGNITING PH CITY, MAKING IT A BETTER PLACE FOR ME AND YOU!”
