Burna Boy Pens Deal With Universal Music Publishing Group

Nigerian Urban fusion singer, Burna Boy has been welcomed to the Universal Music Group as he signs a deal with Universal Music Publishing Group.

This information was released on Universal Music Group’s Instagram page where Burna Boy was pictured with the A&R Sureeta Nayyar and the VP Creative A&R of Universal Music Publishing Group, Walter Jones who expressed their excitement on Burna’s addition to the team on their various social media platforms.

Although the content of this deal has not been revealed, it is definitely a big win for a talented artiste like Burna Boy who had a rough time late last year in his career as he was surrounded with negative news. He broke through with his album Outside and also got more streaming numbers with his song Ye due to Kanye West’s song that also has the same title.
Burna Boy recently concluded his Life On The Outside Tour on the 17th of June covering eight cities in the United States.
