Award-winning Nigerian singer, Burna Boy has pledged his support and help to any organisation available to provide relief assistance to the victims of the ongoing violence and massacre in Sudan.
The singer made this known in his reaction to the tragedy that has claimed several lives with many male and females raped.
In a social media post, the “Dangote” crooner wrote,
“I STAND WITH SUDAN! … we can’t be silent when our brothers and sisters are being oppressed. Any organisations involved in providing medical aid in Sudan pls hit me up.”
Burna Boy’s offer of help is coming on the heels of social media users slamming the mainstream media for its silence in regards to the Sudan massacre. Many are aggrieved that the Western media has not yet reported the massacre that has left many killed, injured, arrested, raped and others missing.
It would be recalled that Burna Boy had earlier announced that he is going off social media and his accounts would be managed by his management. He had also said that his social media accounts would be used mainly to promote new music and announce his tour dates.
