Rivers state ministry of social welfare collaboratse with other organisations to stop violence, sexual abuse

The Rivers State Ministry of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation in response to the increased and alarming statistics of Sexual and gender based violence has set up hotlines and collaborations to fast track immediate response to victims of Sexual abuse and other forms of violence.

The Ministry is working in collaboration with other organizations to provide Counselling, Medical help, Psychological help, Legal Aid and prosecution of offenders.
