BREAKING: Quarantined Chinese In Lagos Airport Free Of Coronavirus

Lagos State Health Commissioner, Prof. Akin Abayomi has confirmed that the Chinese man who arrived in Lagos Monday on an Ethiopian Airlines with cough has tested negative for Coronavirus.

The Chinese man who was on a flight from Addis Ababa-Lagos was quarantined upon arrival at the Murtala Mohammed international Airport (MMIA) Lagos.

It was learnt that the Chinese attracted attention as he was reported to be coughing on the flight and twice in the arrival hall.

But immediately attended to by Port health officials, who at once separated him from other passengers, while officers of the Lagos state Center for Disease Control were alerted to carry out further tests on the Chinese citizen.

Meanwhile, while briefing newsmen on the tests carried out on the Chinese, Lagos State Health Commissioner, Prof. Akin Abayomi disclosed that he was tested negative for Coronavirus.
