I Will Die On A Sunday After Eating Pounded Yam – Pastor Adeboye - Religion

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, recently shared his thoughts on how he would like to pass away. During the annual Holy Ghost Congress of the church in Ogun State, he revealed that he would prefer a death similar to that of his uncle. According to him, his uncle woke up one Sunday, went to church, danced, and came back home. His wife gave him a light breakfast before preparing pounded yam, which is a popular Nigerian dish. 

While his wife was pounding the yam, his uncle went to the toilet. After his wife finished pounding the yam, she knocked on the door of the toilet, but there was no response. When they opened the door, they found that his uncle had passed away peacefully without any pain or discomfort. Pastor Adeboye added that you don't need to be sick to go to heaven, and he hopes to pass away after a good meal of pounded yam on a Sunday, if the Lord tarries His coming.
